Wow... I couldnt believe it myself. 27 days free of rice? Even 1 bit of rice? Even on Aiduladha?? Heheheh.. Thanks to all who understood me and my challenge. eheheh... I'm amazed of myself. I thought this kind of will power and determination only comes once in a life time but it turns out it if there's a will, you could make wonders! The plateau of Death??

Hehehe... I bet anyone who has started, experienced or currently in a diet or exercise regime will come across with this term.Yes, scientifically is damn dificult to explain but using my own experience and word; its when my body slowly build some sort of resistance towards all the exercise and weight reducing activities by slowing drastically its metabolism rate thus making my target to reduce weight that much more dificult. It's sort like a an extreme in a graph. It's the time when you felt you gave your 200% but received 0 in award. This is the time where most of the people loose their will and determination to continue. The time where all are lost. You feel frustrated. You feel angry.

Haih. But having experience this moment time and time again, I can easily say that THIS PHASE will quickly pass. Don't be fooled by the weight counter. Don't lose HOPE. Remember the Circle Of Influence. This is within YOUR control. Don't get fooled by the your inner dark side and remember and have faith in Allah swt and in YOURSELF. Be STRONG!

Once you gone through this Phase, you will discover wonders. You will find that your body will adapt and response more better to any exercise and you will see how fast your weight will go down. The only thing is TIME. That's only obstacle for me and you. REMEMBER !!! BE STRONG!!!

Shirt Conquered

Yessssss...
One of my personal victory!! You know, along our wonderfull journey as husband and wife, my dear Nad had bought alot of nice shirts and attire for me to wear but unfortunately, most of them i just couldnt wear it due to my increasing size and volume heheh. But that's all is going to change soon as i managed to fit perfectly in one
of them this morning. Infact i am wearing it as i write hahah.

Talk about determination and will power. These are a few tips from me to you; yes you! dear readers on how to stay focus maintain your long term goal. Go buy one shirt or pants which is your targeted size and aim for that!! It will work wonders and with encouragement from your family and blessings from Allah swt,you're gonna reach your BMI target and get fit soon; Insya-Allah.

I just can't describe the feeling and my wife's looks when i managed to wear it this morning. IT FELT GREAT!!!!!Thank You Dear!! One great shirt conquered; 5 to go hehehe.. All of these shirts were bought sometime ago and differ in sizes. My final goal; Insyallah when i reach it sometimes in the future is to fit that spanking L sized Bonia eheeheh... 5.2 kg - Day 10

Not bad for a 10 days of effort right? 5.2 kg loss. Small compared to the overall target of 45++ kg that I'm aiming. To tell you the truth, now i can easily cope with any RICE temptations although these past 10 days, there were killer menu that would KILL and vanquish mere mortals to defeat heheh-- example would be my wife's ikan kicap or my mother's rendang.

Before this i'll just use any excuse such as ; there will be tomorrow or we'll start over after a few portion but eventually i'll have 2 or 3 serving of full rice serving before i even think to stop. Thank god and syukur alhamdulillah. Thanks to my dear wife; Nadzuha in believing and giving me words of encouragements. Now now; 80 days to go....YOU CAN DO IT ehheeheh

Syukur ...

Syukur alhamdulillah ... I managed to survive the first 3 days. I remembered clearly last time when I started my previous diet program. The first week was HELL. It was like an addict going through rehabilitation process. Nervous, out of focus, trembling, etc was the effect of having to stop eating RICE. Syukur, Now the repercussion is less compared last time.

You know, eating together is the most important and valued activity my family practice (hence my current weight hehe) due to the fact that life issues are usually brought up and discussed during this period and having to diet kept me away from such thing. These 3 days was tough, but yesterday I went through it with only my JDM5 juice heheh. Thank god for the support my family showed hehehe. Ahh.. that’s the only time I have now, until the next rambling… adios!!

Day 3 of 90

A personal victory once more. I've tried countless of diet shakes-pills-method but the one and only that really works is when these are coupled with some serious exercise. Yep, folks EXERCISE. I trully don't believe that doing nothing and totally relying on some diet shakes/pills etc would work hence I've started using my loooooong forgotten static bike. It felt weird. I managed to wake up around 4ish in the am and started searching for some extension as the
bike isolated quite far from any available power output. Got it connected and under setting 10 (16 being the max). i managed to rode it for 30 minutes straight heheh. Seriously i felt the burning sensation over my heart put i kept pushing on untul i became ONE .... heheheheheh seriously !!! with the bike overall below are my bike stat:

Today i feel great! One thing great that i noticed about using JDM5 is that I really don't feel hungry at all. That way, i just can focus on my work and life heheeh. Self Reminder

Just a reminder to oneself. After a few discussion and inputs from close friends and dear readers, this is the few things that I’ll upload and update when time permits.

2. Picture of myself?? emmm.. will try to upload that and the purpose of this is to track visually the improvements targeted.

3. Picture of myself - sideways. It can be turned to an animation or a fast forward system or to remind oneself on how time flies hehehe..(this one i loike heheheh)

4. To start the same initiative in Facebook. Wow, this one is really superb! How did i miss this? Will transfer everything from day 1 till now to my fb account and will start to update both (blogspot and fb) in parallel.

Day 2

So i managed to get through the first day of my diet adventure. It was damn tough. With countless of meetings blocks apart, the smell of foods my colleague brought, the lunch invites from here and there; wow, it was really a struggle! Thank god i have the love and support from my family especially my dear wife, 'aaliah and ammar. Syukur alhamdulillah... I conquered day 1.

Feeling Stat:
Felt freakin horrible heheh.. espcially when everybody is eating away at the kitchen. Dang, mental focus is highy needed at this early stage and help and support from your spouse is KEY. As for me, i just focus on what i've learned in 7 habits - sharpen the saw and also imagine the fruit of my labour in a few months time; as the saying goes; NO PAIN, NO GAIN!!!

Day 1 of 90

So today is the day. The day of my long journey towards one goal in mind; health. I weighted up and am currently at 126.8 kg!. Yes, you read it right, its 126.8 kg of 29 years heheh. I'll capture a before pic and upload it once i can find that precious free second right after work.

Sharpen the saw. That is what I've learn during my 7 habits course and it's the most important step anyone can take including mine. Here are some ground rules for this 90 days course;

1. Food intake is only limited to 1000 cal/day so what i eat is extremely important!
2. No rice for the whole duration.
3. Drink plenty of fluids!
4. Exercise at least 30 mins per day - My trusty static bike will help me on this.
5. Will figure out more along the way heheh.
